Protecting Women Human Rights Defenders

This Resource Portal is designed specifically for women and girls interested in promoting and protecting human rights around the world.

This website provides materials based on the Report of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders, Michel Forst, presented to the Human Rights Council in February 2019. The report examines the risks and challenges that women and girl human rights defenders face, and discusses ways of strengthening the global movement of women and girls engaged in the promotion and protection of human rights.
